When you come to Eramosa Eden to study, reflect,

and renew body, mind and spirit

you can also enjoy the quiet countryside, the river and a woodland trail.

Our physical accommodations include:

    Main area in Octagon: The main house, with its unique octagonal shape, has a large common room with two adjoining rooms (The Blue Room and The Gallery) and a sun porch. There is a large sitting area, a fully supplied kitchen (microwave, dishes, coffee makers, pots and pans, etc.) and a three piece bathroom. The large room sleeps 4 dormitory style with a double futon, a couch, and flip flop chair. There are two rocking chairs in the reading section with a wide variety of books.

    Blue Room: This is an adjoining room off the octagon space which serves as a private sleeping area (for 2) or a meeting room. It has a gas fireplace and a large picture window looking out at the river. There is also a separate entrance from the outside deck.

    The Gallery: This is another large adjoining room off the kitchen hallway. One of our member's Art Work is on display here with a percentage of the sales going to the Eramosa Eden Fund. This is a lovely sitting room which contains a pull out couch (into a double bed). Also has a gas fireplace and huge windows overlooking the forest and river.

    Sun Porch: Adjoining the main areas is an enclosed "sun porch" with a long table that seats up to 10 for eating or meeting. It has a freestanding gas fireplace, and a pull out sofa (into a double bed). Also a large comfy chair, and large windows which overlook the lawn, deck and river.
There is a patio door exit onto the board walk.

    Green Room: This is a self contained room with a private entrance, kitchenette, private bathroom, and two huge windows overlooking the forest and river. Very private and a real favourite for quiet contemplation.

    Tree House: This is a unique and rustic two level tree house for summer use and sleeps two to three. Facilities include water and electricity for simple cooking and washing. There is a flush toilet in a separate cabin for summer use. This is a very special place to connect with Nature and self.

    Outdoor facilities: Riverside picnic area, barbecues, decks, boardwalk, screened gazebo and nature trail. In winter there is cross country skiing on the river or the trail and canoeing in the spring. At the end of the trail where the river turns, (which we call Pooh Corner) it is deeper for swimming. There are many quiet places along the trail and at the end to sit and contemplate.
